Who we are. Hopper Freight LLC d/b/a Hopper Roadside ("Hopper", "we"), a Delaware limited liability company of Montana, USA, runs a roadside assistance app and web dashboard for customers, drivers (independent contractors) and partner towing companies.

What we collect

How we use it

To dispatch and complete jobs, pay drivers, bill companies, provide support, meet tax and legal obligations, and keep the service safe (including reviewing reported chat messages). We do not sell personal data, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Sharing

With the company and driver handling your job; Stripe (payments); Google Firebase (hosting, database, storage); Expo (push notification delivery); map and geocoding providers (Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap / Photon / Nominatim); a background-check provider for drivers; and authorities when the law requires it.

Chat safety

You can report a message or block a user in any chat. Reports go to the company's office (and, for partner companies, to Hopper Support for review). Blocked users can't message you in that chat.

Retention & deletion

Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or see https://dashboard.hopperroadside.com/delete-account. We delete your login and personal profile. Job, payment, tax and signed-agreement records we're legally required to keep are retained in anonymized form for the required period, then deleted.

Security

Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS); tax IDs encrypted at rest; role-based access rules on every record.

Children

Hopper Roadside is not intended for anyone under 18.

Your choices

You can turn off location or notifications in your device settings (drivers need location to take jobs). You may request a copy or correction of your data by contacting us.
